Google has recently introduced an interesting new project which is described as "A unique collaboration with some of the world’s most acclaimed art museums to enable people to discover and view more than a thousand artworks online in extraordinary detail."
Continuing to push the boundaries of what the internet can do, Google is making use of their street view technology in a very innovative way. The video below shows the process of documenting the art works and museums for the web.
