Similar to The Ministry of Artistic Affairs in some ways, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that aim to spark discussion and connection about important cultural matters. While the TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations) and fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.
TEDxPhilly was recently held in Philadelphia and Steve "ESPO" Powers was invited to speak about his work and the history of the war on street art in general.
