The Toronto School of Art (TSA) welcomes Toronto-based artist Nicholas DiGenova to its studios on Wednesday, April 27th, at 6:30 p.m. to talk about his work. This event is open to the public on a 'pay-as-you-can' basis.
DiGenova is represented in New York City by Fredericks Freiser Gallery and in Toronto by Le Gallery. His website, Mediumphobic, is a bit out of date but it offers a great place to check out some of his work. He is known and loved for his library of charming characters, usually animals combining different species and rendered with intricate parallel linear shading, finely detailed outlines and gritty futurism.
