Tibi Tibi Neuspiel is one of a number of local artists included in the first exhibition at Manny Neubacher's promising new gallery in Toronto's west end, Neubacher Shor Contemporary (NSC).
In this excerpt from episode 9 of Late Night In The Bedroom, a sometimes-hilarious online serial filmed in Toronto and modeled on the late night television format, Neuspiel explains his art, production processes, and materials. His Pop-conceptualism works take smart jabbing strikes at our shared understanding of North American mass culture and identity. This short clip offers a quick and entertaining introduction to this young, original artist, one of the most interesting in Toronto.
